We had stated this has previously but it has deteriorated over the past several years. There is sagging flooring at 2 of the entrance doors from the outside. In addition, one of the outside swings was down secondary to a broken hook. In addition, there were multiple nonworking outside lights under the house and at outside steps. We were there in mid July and the outside air-conditioner just could not keep the upstairs cool. This was despite running ceiling fans. In addition, the filters were extremely dirty wound we arrived and we called and they were replaced. The house was clean on arrival. It just seems that this house needs a good dose of upkeeping before next year. We have stayed at better houses for less money on the same beach.

We rented with my brothers grown children as part of a 70+person family reunion centered around a 50th anniversary for my cousin. Carapace was very nice with good size rooms, great family space and everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. We recommend to any family.
