“Desiderata” is located far from the crowds at the gorgeous and more private far west end of the island near “the point”. It is bright, open and comfortable with many great amenities including a private beach walkway just across the street. This is a great beach vacation home for those that enjoy a more private beach experience.

 

Ground Level: The ground level features covered parking, enclosed stairwell access to the main level, laundry room, enclosed hot/cold outside shower and BBQ grilling area.

 

Main Level: The main living area is located on the middle floor and includes the kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

 

Upper Level: There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs, which include the master suite w/ balcony.

    Large house was big enough for our whole family. We have been staying on Oak Island for over twenty years and love it here. This house has big rooms, big kitchen, lots of sitting areas. The access across the street is great. The porch had alot of nails sticking up that needed to be knocked in. To make this an excellent house all it needs is some rocking chairs.No place to sit on the porch. Needs Rocking chairs, for us to rent it again. Great House
