dragonfly was a beautiful property. very well equipted and well maintained. the front porch was great!! we had a bad experience the year before in 2cool so it was a wonderful feeling when we walked into this property. our 6 week old grandson was there as was our 5 year old grandson and the porch rockers were a big hit!! hope we can stay there again this summer but don't know any dates yet. the owners must be very proud of their vacation home and have made it a warm and inviting place for their guests.

This home had a great location for a 2nd row home, and was beautifully furnished and decorated. It had all the bells and whistles! We only had to walk across the street to the beach access, it was very convenient. The area had changed much since my visit as a teenager 34 years ago, and my favorite pier was now gone (the Long Beach pier). The home was also not very far from mid town and the new Food Lion grocery store and other interesting shops there, so some of the changes were nice. The home had every thing you could need. We especially enjoyed sitting on the elevated front deck at night feeling the ocean breeze and looking at the sea and stars. The outdoor shower was great, and the cement drive and parking underneath were nice. I have always loved this beach area and had many fond memories here from my youth. The sea and sand are just as clean as I remembered, on this my 4th or 5th trip to Oak Island. It says a lot that many Carolina natives we met had also chosen to vacation here. We would definitely recommend "Dragonfly" to anyone coming here to vacation, and hope to stay in this rental again when we return. It made for a wonderful and relaxing trip!
