Mountain dog lovers that hit the beach once a year
The house was ok, but was overpriced for the condition of the property. I have rented from Rudd before, and was a bit surprised. Location was great. Layout was really nice for dogs. The kitchen needed some tools and essentials like glasses and bowls. The porch light was burned out and 2 lights in the house were burned out, so we had to go right out and buy bulbs as soon as we got there. There was a board from the porch ceiling with nails in it laying on the porch and we felt lucky we grabbed it before a dog's foot did. The den lamp was broken, so we had to use overhead lights all week. The dryer was ancient and needed replaced. The fridge had been moved, exposing an overhead cabinet corner smack dab in the flow of the room that was really hard for the two 6' men with me to avoid, both ending up with nasty bumps on their heads. We spent the week with a trashcan sitting out in the middle of the floor (and remember we had dogs) to avoid the lethal cabinet edge. Other small things that needed maintenance. We still had a good time, and I would rent from Rudd again, but the maintenance was definetly lax on this property. The master bathroom floor was cracked and needed replaced and was really kind of pitiful.
