Memories forever in our hearts! Staying at this beautiful home was something that we will all remember! Having our own beach everyday was incredible! Our family had great customer service from all of the locals and great food at nearby restaurants! We loved being so close to a turtle nest and anticipated the eggs hatching! This was an incredible experience!
11/20/2011Disappointed With Maintenance Service
Check-in was very quick and simple. Loved the home and location. Very nicely furnished. We were concerned about a possible water leak in the ceiling and what looked like mold. Called Margaret Rudd & Assoc. and reported it. They said they would send someone out to check it out, but never did! There had obviously been some water damage from an upstairs bathroom at some point. Living room ceiling needs repaired. Hope there isn't a mold issue, because it is a lovely home.

The home went beyoud our expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The linen service was excellent, the location was absolutely perfect...which was the name of the home we rented last year and happens to be right next door to this home...and we thought we would never like any other house...until this one...we are planning on renting it again if its available at the time. The kitchen was the heart beat because we like to cook our meals so that no beach time is lost! The family room upstairs is priceless and with that swing on the deck outside of the family room is priceless!!!

This my not be our home, but we love it is if it were. We have been coming to this home for 8 years. This is the first year it has been w/a rental company and we were disappointed to see how others do not care for it in the same manner. It is a beautiful home and in a spectacular location, and should be treated w/love & respect. The rental co charges a lot of $, but we knew what we were getting. Sould have been a lot cleaner. Hopefully that will be rectified. Would recommend it, but it is costly.

Our yearly beach trip has taken us from the Outer Banks, to Surf City/Topsail, to Oak Island. This was, by far, the nicest beach house we've rented to date. We traveled with 2 families (4 adults, 5 children (11-months to 5-years), and there was more than enough room for all of us. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of sofas and chairs (no one was ever without a seat), the kitchen was large and open, and the deck was perfect (partly shaded, large, plenty of chairs). Even the artwork was beautiful!! One thing that would make the house even better than it already is...a BBQ grill.
