Pelican Crossing - Oak Island - North Carolina

We have rented this property for the last 2 years. It is a cute house with a great layout. There are 2wo bedrooms on each side of the house, each sharing a bathroom, so everyone is happy. Sitting on the porch facing the ocean, you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view. Having a kitchen is convenient, so you don't have to eat out every day, but Oak Island has some wonderful restaurants with phenomenal seafood, so try to eat out a bit! The only reason I did not give this house 5 stars was because the swing is never hung on the porch..and I want to read a book on the swing. Great house, great location!

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Crossing very much. It was equipped adequately and was a great deal for the price. As a whole the bedding was good with the exception of one of the street side bedrooms where the mattress was not comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The TV could be updated and it would be nice to have a TV in some of the bedrooms. The ocean view porch was wonderful and the view spectacular. It would be very helpful if Margaret Rudd had a check in location at the west end of the island.

The house was nice and spacious but the furniture was somewhat uncomfortable but that was tolerable but the one of the showers in the bathroom was broken and we called Margaret Rudd and they said someone would come out to fix it but nobody ever came the entire week that we were down there. We plan to stay here again put hope that the shower is fixed by next year.
