We found the house to be ideal for our visit, well-designed and well-equipped. The location was excellent. All of the appliances worked well. Our only problem was that we were late in the season and the weather was not ideal. The TV in the living room was difficult to control without better instructions. Oak Island is a delightful place to vacation - the beach, the proximity to Wilmington, and the stores and restaurants.

Loved Pelican Landing rental...clean, well equipped and lots of room. The downstaires apartment is really nice, with a small fridge, microwave and sitting room. All the rooms have great TVs with DVD players but why watch movies when ya have direct beach access and a very nice porch. Loved our stay at Pelican Landing

This is our 2nd year at pelican Landing, before that we rented Red Sky at Night for 10 years.Wherever we stayed we knew if Margaret Rudd was handling it we were in good hands.pelican landing met our family needs.this year the only problem we had was we had to come down a hill-due to the x-tra sand.my mother is 88 years old-so it made it alittle rough.we want to keep the shoreline.the only suggestion i have would be a bigger table.we like to eat one meal everyday together and the table was too small.we will rent this house again next year.it's a wonderful house.
