From the first call to the realtor to the final key drop-off at the end of the week, this was a great family vacation! We drove Oak Island from the Philadelphia area for the first time and look forward to returning each year. The pool is a terrific option to have at your fingertips. There were six of us in the house but there is so much room to spread out that you would never know it. Our linens were waiting for us on the table and collected at the end of the week...sweet option. Very short walk to the quiet beach and the kids loved the warm water. Oak Island has everything a family needs but we did visit WalMart right over the bridge. This is a great home for larger families with small kids. The only suggestion I can make is to update the family room sofa. Other than that minor detail, this is a homerun rental.
