Tequila Sunrise - Oak Island - North Carolina

This was our third year at Oak Island with Rudd Realtors. Second year at Tequila Sunrise. We will be returning next august but going to another home closer to the ocean. Upon returning to Tequila the second year we found the following: Realizing it is a dog friendly home we were still disappointed to find dog feces in the back yard keeping us from playing games there. The guest book must have had some liquid spilled on it because it was now extremely moldly - I wrapped it in a bag not believing it was proper of me to throw it away. We saw two roaches in the home this year. One we killed and one that got away. Those are the downsides this year. Other suggestions from my family would be: Shades on the windows on the side of the home. One reason being privacy from the neighbors and second reason when the sun sets there is a tremendous shining of the sun into the living room preventing someone from sitting at the one end of the couch. Second suggestion would be a newer couch. The couch is extremely uncomfortable. Please let it be known that what I have written is not the reason we have moved to another home. We decided we would like to find another home closer to the beach so we could see and hear the ocean. We liked having linens supplied with rental. The home is huge and most inviting. Always clean. We would have returned to Tequila if we hadn't found a home closer to the ocean.

Tequila Sunrise was a wonderful home with a perfect layout for families. The location was close enough to the beach that we were able to walk. There was a large backyard for your dog and plenty of decks to relax and enjoy the view. I would recommend this nice home to anyone. The only negative was the twin beds needed repairs.

This is a great house to rent. It is close to the beach and has great views of the ocean. The house is clean and comfortable. The negatives are the high-speed internet, where is it?, kitchen needs new cooking pots and pans, and the front and back doors need to close more securely.

The Rudd and associates team had the house ready when we arrived, they are professional and the house was everything it appeared on the site. It is a great house and the owners are nice enough that we were able to take along our pets. The house has lots of room and the layout is nice. We are planning to return and would recommend it very much. This was our first rental with Rudd and it could not have been a better experience. Thank you.
