We loved Two Gulls, older house but beautiful. We were right at a turtle nest which was very exciting for all of us, especially the kids. With all the older houses being torn down, it was nice to stay in one with character.

My wife and I have been coming to Oak Island and staying at Two Gulls since 1992. Part of me does not want to get the word out on how great an area and house this is for fear that this will ruin the family friendly experience. It is like coming home. The staff at Margarat Rudd have always treated us wonderfully and the locals are just great. Two Gulls is an older house but is designed to offer great views of the ocean both in the house and out on the deck. We have seen some changes over the last 19 years in the local area more better than worse but one thing that has always stayed the same is the welcoming feeling that Two Gulls provides the vacationer. It's like coming home. I do not know what a summer vacation would be without a stay at Two Gulls.
