Marketing Manager, Real Estate Sales

  • Job Location: Oak Island, North Carolina
  • Position Type & Hours: Full-time, weekly; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Salary Range: $35,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience and achievement
  • Reports to: Director, Marketing & Communications

Purpose

Assist in the overall operations of the Marketing and Communications Department with a particular focus on the marketing and communications of the real estate sales division. Spotlight the southeastern Brunswick County area as a superb place for living, working, and growing a business. Educate and entice those in the market to buy or sell real estate, or relocate into and out of the area, and to partner with Margaret Rudd & Associates, Inc., REALTORS® and its independently contracted real estate agents in the navigation of real estate transactions. Work with the marketing team to play a pivotal role in expanding the brand’s footprint, assisting its real estate agents in growing their business, attracting inventory, actively marketing current inventory, and cultivating customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead marketing initiatives and campaigns of the real estate sales division
  • Manage and create content for the website, social media, and email marketing efforts to advertise and educate potential clients
  • Facilitate offline advertising efforts at the direction of the department supervisor and Board of Directors
  • Coordinate and maintain consistent marketing assets used to advertise the company, its active listings, and its individual real estate agents
  • Engage and grow the online community through consistent social media management
  • Analyze data and work closely with the team to ensure maximum ROI from our marketing efforts
  • Manage the daily marketing and communications needs of the real estate sales division
  • Direct the daily operations required to meet ongoing and incidental marketing campaigns and requests

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3+ years minimum of prior marketing experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Experience managing social media accounts and campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write, story-tell, proofread, and edit
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines, marketing policies, and strategies, and adhere to a budget
  • Experience using design software preferred, specifically Canva or Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, email marketing tools like Constant Contact or Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, and/or experience using Drupal or WordPress to manage websites preferred
  • Reliable, hardworking, honest, and punctual nature
  • Comfortability working both independently and as a member of a team

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $35,000 to $45,000, based on experience and achievement. Bonus opportunities are also available based on individual and company performance. The position provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
