Welcome to Ocean Hideaway! This spacious ocean-front home offers a tranquil retreat and proximity to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Located on over an acre of land in the heart of Oak Island, Ocean Hideaway is a nature-lover's delight with 2 ocean-front decks boasting spectacular views of the ocean, marsh and pond. The fenced back yard includes a heated and cooled inground swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, shaded seating area, bathroom and shower. A hot tub is located on the first-floor deck and overlooks the private walkway to the beach and your own personal gazebo.
Inside is a large family room, dining room and well-equipped kitchen - all with amazing views of the ocean. Games, puzzles, books and a 70-inch TV with ample seating can be found in the top floor family room. Each of the 5 comfortable bedrooms has its own bathroom and TV with high-speed wireless and streaming service.
Enjoy the sunrise and a cup of coffee from a comfy deck chair while watching the birds hunt for fish off the private walkway to the beach. To easily access the beach and to avoid paid parking, head to the toy closet to grab a beach cart, chairs and sand toys then stroll down the private boardwalk over the pond to the shore. Grill your dinner poolside or create your own Carolina seafood boil in the spacious dining room on the top floor. Then relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine while the sun sets over the ocean. Ocean Hideaway is also dog friendly, with a fenced-in yard, dog wash area, dog bowls and beds, and much more! So, bring the whole family to make new memories and enjoy all that Oak Island has to offer.

This is not the first vacation rental we've stayed at but it was the first one that not only met our expectations, but exceeded them! The information says the house has enough beach and water toys, enough towels for the pool, enough plates, silverware, pots, pans and the list goes on and guess what? IT DOES! In other cases, there's still usually a shortage of some thing or another, but that was not the case with Ocean Hideaway. It really was perfect for a family vacation - beach, pool, hot tub, a bathroom for each bedroom. If/when we come back to Oak Island (this was our second time), and we have a group, we'll be lucky to get this same house! Thank you so much!!
