Apollo is conveniently located in the East Beach area of Oak Island, just minutes from dining, shopping and entertainment. The home is bright and airy and has wonderful views of the pier and the ocean. You'll find the swing and gazebo an ultimate source of relaxation and a perfect spot for watching the sun set each evening.

The ground level features covered parking and a covered exterior stairway to main level. The main living area is located on this level and includes the kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry closet, one primary bedroom/bathroom and a half bathroom off the kitchen. The upper level includes an additional primary bedroom/bathroom, three other bedrooms and one full bathroom.

Fabulous holiday week

Overall

The house was perfect--there was a larger dining table than the photo and new chairs in the living room. Everything was as advertised. We appreciated having 2 masters--one for the in-laws downstairs and one for us. The kitchen was well-equipped--loved the electric stock pot! The beds were comfortable and the weather was fabulous. Thanks for a great week!

Overall

Nice house, great location…. Only issue was cleanliness of house, but they immediately sent out a crew to reclean after we complained…. We had a great vacation!

Nice house with sand dune view

Overall

Due to the hurricane damage to the house we rented on the west beach we chose this house as alternative. The house was adequate but we were disappointed that you couldn't see the ocean due to sand dunes. Additionally, we had 2 small children and one disabled child and it was a struggle getting in and out of cottage due to very steep and lengthy steps. The living area is very small and furniture was not comfortable. The deck had spoke rails and there was one place where the spokes had a wider opening than the others and our two year old nearly fell through. We put a lounge chair up against it. One bedroom the cable or remote didn't work. The kitchen supplies were adequate but it did not have a spatula for turning over pancakes. Only a cold water shower on outside to wash off from beach. We would not rent again. We will definitely rent on west end of beach where you can see the beach from house and less stairs.

We do try to advertise our properties in the most honest light and felt that the photos of the property adequately displayed the stair situation. Despite that fact, we understand how this could have been frustrating and difficult for your affected family members and for that we are sorry. Unfortunately, following the hurricane there were only a short list of comparable properties available to offer given the fact that the originally rented property was unsuitable. For guests who chose to maintain their reservation at a different property, we did try to communicate through our arrival emails that slight maintenance problems may be experienced due to the limited time with which we have had to repair major issues in addition to the limited availability of area vendors. We have shared your feedback with both our maintenance and our housekeeping departments for them to address, and we hope to welcome you back to Oak Island again in the future. We hope we are able to provide you with a property that meets your family’s needs and expectations at that time.
