Oak Island Parking Reminders

If you are renting a property through Margaret Rudd & Associates, Inc., REALTORS® (MRA), you are encouraged to remain mindful of the parking space available and/or designated at the property you have rented. Prior to your vacation, please review the property photos of the property you have rented and inquire with any questions. MRA recommends discussing the parking situation with those traveling with you to ensure that you will not exceed the available parking at the property you have rented.

Parking is prohibited in all right-of-way areas. Tenants should not park in the parking areas of other properties, in the yard or the grass, along the street, or in the beach access areas. RVs are not permitted on the grounds of any property at any time. Boats, boat trailers and equipment trailers count as a vehicle and must be parked in the allocated space at the property, if allowed. Most condominium complexes and properties with limited parking areas do not allow boat or trailer parking, and some have very strict guidelines for any and all vehicles to include RVs and golf carts.  Information specific to parking is included in the digital property guide guests receive prior to each stay with MRA. As a reminder, guests checking in on their arrival date should wait until they receive a text and/or email from MRA prior to parking at the property they have rented to avoid any delays in housekeeping and/or maintenance.

Please note that tenants who fail to follow the parking rules and guidelnes are subject to fines, ticketing and/or being towed. If you are a guest of MRA and would like to know more about the parking area available at the vacation rental in which you will stay, please contact our office by phone call to (800) 486-5441 or email to information@rudd.com.
