Freedom Run & Fun Walk
Join in on the fun for an unforgettable and patriotic 5k along the beautiful waterfront of downtown Southport! As part of the official North Carolina Fourth of July Celebration, this scenic course winds through charming neighborhoods filled with beautiful oaks and coastal breezes from the Cape Fear River.
Proceeds from the race hlep support the NC 4th of July Festival and the traditions that make this celebration so special each year.

- Location: Southport Waterfront Park

- Three water stops along the course
- Street parking only, first come, first served. With festival vendors in town, arrive early.
- Enjoy drinks and snacks at the finish line provided by Novant Health
