On Friday November 7th from 11: 00 am to 4:00 pm Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site is hosting a Pumpkin Smashing event! You now can bring your very own pumpkin to be disposed of using the very same technology that was used in the Civil War. There is a $10 fee if you bring your own pumpkin but you can detonate it yourself. This event is free to the public and first come first served. Pumpkins with minimal carving offer the best explosions, but they can work with all types. All proceeds go towards funding educational programming at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site. You won't want to miss this smashing good time!
