Cooper's Landing will always be a special place for us. My mother asked to go to the beach for her 94th birthday, so my sisters and I took her to Oak Island, and we stayed at Cooper's Landing. This is a beautiful property. It has an interesting unobstructed view of the beach, and with the pool, you can take your pick how you want to enjoy the water. They provided a few chairs for the beach along with beach toys for smaller kids, and there was ample outdoor seating on both levels. Plenty of space for large families - so much so we are booking for next year to bring our children and grandchildren. One thing to note - there are no lamps in the property, not even bedside table lamps. We actually went out and bought 4 lamps so at least we would have lamps bedside the beds. Either bring kitchen washcloths and kitchen towels with you or get extras in your linen package because there are none in the property which was inconvenient. We also had an issue with cleanliness that we reported to Rudd - refrigerator was not clean and the floors had not been mopped in quite a while. It is in great shape, as it is a relatively new property, but some attention to detail in the cleaning needed to be attended to.

Amazing Week At Cooper's Landing!

Our family of 8 had a great week at Coopers Landing. There was plenty of space to spread out within the home (we had a 6 month old baby). It's very close to everything you would need (Food Lion, Publix, Shagger Jacks, Tranquil Harbor and Swain's Seafood & Cuts just to name a few). The house does have a gas grill, regular coffee pot, Keurig Coffee maker, plenty of chairs on the pool deck, pool toys, outdoor dinning table on the upper deck and a fully stocked kitchen. It's maybe a 40 yard walk to the beach but you still have ocean views from all levels of the deck. The house was spectacular and we will definitely be back! If you like more than one pillow you may want to bring a few extra's.
