Oak Island, NC – Margaret Rudd & Associates, Inc., REALTORS® (“MRA”), a leader in the Brunswick County real estate and property management industries, today announced that it has been awarded the “Small Business Customer Service of the Year Award” by the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce (the “Chamber”). Members of MRA's Executive Board, including Margaret Rudd Bishop, Founder and CEO, and Karen Brake, Vice President, were on hand to accept the award from Chamber leadership which included Karen Sphar, Executive Vice President, Jeffrey Stites, President, and Jackie Del Prete, Vice President of Business Development.
The Small Business Customer Service of the Year Award recognizes businesses within the Chamber that have excelled in providing consistent, exceptional customer service. Eligible businesses must have been nominated for a Golden Pineapple Award, a quarterly customer service recognition, for the previous four quarters. In addition, said businesses must submit a packet of information for judging by the Small Business Center of Brunswick Community College.
